If your watch had 40 tubes you could pay close to $500 to replace those tubes in today's dollars. Now people havent had this tritium for 20 years and Nobody knows how much they will truly fade.

Several watches were used and shots were taken at logical intervals like right after charging, then 5 minutes, then 20, then 45, then 2 hrs then 6 then 10.I have a large selection of dive watches, and most expensive is a Chris Ward Super Compressor. It is a wonderful watch, but the lume is pretty awful compared to a £100 Heimdallr. The very worst one is on my instrmnt diver, which is a £650 watch. I find it more convenient to charge by mobile phone's flash light. Because wherever I go, I always bring my mobile phone with me, not the light bulbs.Sold. A lot of the newer diving watches had this weird lume that looked like blobs of glue.
